Natalia Zielonka is a 1st year PhD student at the School of Biological Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA), working on the ecosystem services provided by birds in tropical fruit production systems, as part of the SUFICA project in semi-arid Brazil. The work presented here was completed during a MSc in Applied Ecology and Conservation at UEA, and prior to this, Natalia studied Zoology at the University of Nottingham, during which she researched the acoustic ecology of the male European Nightjars, Caprimulgus europaeus.
