Rebecca is currently on a placement year at Bangor University, in North Wales, where she is collaborating with Dr James J Waggitt, working within the ACCELERATE project. After completing a foundation year and a 3-year BSc in Marine Biology at Bangor University, she has developed a keen interest in seabird ecology. She hopes to pursue an MSc/Res in 2026 on Northern Gannets (Morus bassanus). This placement has provided the training, skillsets, and collaborative experience necessary to progress towards this goal.
