Stuart Butchart is Chief Scientist at BirdLife International, and leads a team of scientists who undertake research to support and focus the conservation programmes of the network of 120 national nature conservation organisations worldwide that form the BirdLife International Partnership.

BirdLife, RSPB and BTO are all partners in the Cambridge Conservation Initiative.
