Pavel Pipek

Pavel Pipek currently works for Czech Academy of Sciences in Pruhonice and Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. His main focus is ecology of biological invasions, but he has been always interested in animal behaviour. In his PhD study, finished last year, he thus combined invasion ecology with bioacoustics within a project on Yellowhammer Dialects in the UK and New Zealand.

Adam Petrusek

Adam Petrusek is aquatic ecologist by training, with research interests ranging from evolutionary biology of crayfish and planktonic crustaceans to biological invasions. However, has been involved in research on songbird behaviour and vocalisation, led by his wife, for more than a decade, and contributed to the yellowhammer dialect project from the very beginning. Adam is former head of the Department of Ecology and current vice-dean at Faculty of Science of Charles University.
