Adrian Regos is Lluís Brotons’ PhD student at Forestry Science Center of Catalonia. He is focussed on how the spatial interactions between the main driving forces of global change (i.e. climate change, land use change and fire disturbance) are affecting the spatiotemporal dynamics of Mediterranean landscapes and their potential effects on biodiversity at different scales. He is also interesting in how fire and forest management could be integrated in biodiversity conservation planning, and how current protected areas networks will be able to ensure biodiversity conservation in the face of global change.
