Alex Bond is the Senior Curator in Charge of Birds at The Natural History Museum in Tring, UK. He is formerly a Senior Conservation Scientist at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, where he led the scientific research underpinning island restoration and biodiversity conservation on Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island, as well as Henderson and Pitcairn Islands in the South Pacific from 2014-2017. His research interests are around the conservation of island and marine birds, particularly involving pollution and toxicology, introduced species, and fisheries bycatch.
