Andreas studied Biology at the University of Crete, and his diploma thesis was on the differentiation of Enidae snails in Cyprus, using morphometry and molecular analysis. Next, he attended the MSc programme on Biodiversity and Ecology at the University of Cyprus. His Master’s thesis, part of which is presented above, was on the DNA barcoding of resident birds of Cyprus. He is currently a PhD student at the Department of biological sciences at the university of Cyprus working on the phylogeny of all terrestrial isopods.
