Darren Wilkinson is a postdoctoral researcher at University College Cork with a particular interest in seabirds and raptors. His PhD research explored the distribution and behaviour of the European Storm-petrel through the use of aerial surveys and biologging devices. Through this work he is also collaborating in an international research project focused on the spatial ecology and conservation of storm-petrels (Seaghosts). His current research focuses on the movement and population ecology of White-tailed Eagles in Ireland.
