Dries Van de Loock is a biologist interested in how wildlife, and birds in particular, respond to environmental change. He studied this topic during his PhD on a fragmented population of a cooperatively breeding bird from South-East Kenya. Since finishing his PhD, he focusses more on practical conservation tools that reconcile the needs of both human and wildlife.
