Karleah currently works as the Glossy Black Cockatoo Project Officer for the Kangaroo Island Landscape Board, based on Kangaroo Island, South Australia and has worked with the Glossy Black Cockatoo Project for over 7 years. In her current role she delivers conservation outcomes for the species through installing and maintaining nestboxes, revegetation projects, pest management and undertaking research to improve management actions. Karleah has previously undertaken research projects on the ecology and conservation of Australian arid zone rodents and marsupials through an Honours and PhD research project.
