Laura Monclús is currently a third year PhD student at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, with a fellowship grant from Fundación Tatiana Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno, Madrid, Spain. Her. Her research focuses on investigating the effects of environmental stressors on the endocrine response, survival and reproduction of wild and captive bird populations. In her studies, Laura used feathers as a non-invasive matrix to measure endocrine hormones and pollutants. She has a deep interest in the study of ecophysiological stress in birds as well as assessing environmental health.
