Birds in deciduous habitats are more sensitive to temperature change
About the author
Liam is an ecologist and data scientist with an interest in using data science techniques to study climate change. His work has spanned a range of topics and study species, including studying nesting behaviour in Eurasian Oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus), body size in White-plumed Honeyeaters (Ptilotula penicillatus) and, here, looking at laying date in Great and Blue Tits. He is currently working as a post-doc at the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research using agent-based modelling to study a large sociable carnivore, the Spotted Hyena (Crocuta crocuta).
For this research, Liam was also affiliated with the Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW)
