Liam is an ecologist and data scientist with an interest in using data science techniques to study climate change. His work has spanned a range of topics and study species, including studying nesting behaviour in Eurasian Oystercatchers (Haematopus ostralegus), body size in White-plumed Honeyeaters (Ptilotula penicillatus) and, here, looking at laying date in Great and Blue Tits. He is currently working as a post-doc at the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research using agent-based modelling to study a large sociable carnivore, the Spotted Hyena (Crocuta crocuta).
