Markéta Zárybnická is as a postdoc at the Faculty of Environmental Life Sciences in Prague, the Czech Republic. She focuses on ecology and behaviour of birds, mostly owls. Her long-term interest deals with the use of modern technologies in biological research, particularly the use of camera recording to collect data on bird nesting behaviour and food provisioning of young. Her main interest is a study of parental behaviour, reproductive strategies and predatory-prey dynamics in Tengmalm’s Owl.
