Thomas Denis is a PhD candidate working in French Guiana at the French Office of Hunting and Wildlife and studying how environmental conditions influence medium and large-sized vertebrate communities in terra firme rainforests. His current researches also concerns other large forest birds such as Tinamous, Grey-Winged Trumpeter and cracids.
