Yi-Qiang Fu is a zoologist at Leshan Normal University, Sichuan, China where he teaches zoology and conservation and conducts research on the breeding ecology and conservation biology of endangered birds native to the mountains of southwest China. His research findings have contributed to the conservation management of recently established forest nature reserves in southern Sichuan.
