Andrew Tongue is a Senior Research Assistant with the RSPB Centre for Conservation Science. His current research interests include the impacts of renewable energy developments on seabirds and the conservation of farmland biodiversity. Andrew’s recent fieldwork focus has been UK Yellow Wagtail Motacilla flava flavissima utilisation of ‘Skylark Plots’ – undrilled patches in autumn-sown wheat fields. Andrew has also worked as a consultant ornithologist, involved predominantly in Environmental Impact Assessment for onshore and offshore renewable energy developments. He is a keen birder in his spare time.
