Chima is an Early Career Researcher with the A.P. Leventis Ornithological Research Institute in Jos, Nigeria. His PhD is jointly funded and supervised by Professor Irene Tieleman and Will Cresswell at the Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences, University of Groningen, the Netherlands and the School of Biology, University of St Andrews, UK, respectively. His research is aimed at understanding how variation in life history traits and innate immune function arises from variation in diet and environmental conditions in a tropical environment.
