About the author

David López-Idiáquez

David is a postdoctoral researcher at the Edward Grey institute in the University of Oxford (UK) interested in understanding individuals’ behaviour variation and its ultimate fitness consequences. He is keen on exploring what causes individual variation in different traits (e.g. phenology or ornamentation) in the animal kingdom, regardless of the target species. Currently, he is working on analysing the within- and between-population variation in responses to climate variability and extreme climatic events.
