Tom is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Sheffield. He has been working in the field of wildlife conservation for over a decade, including positions at the RSPB – UK, Mauritian Wildlife Foundation – Mauritius, the Macaw Recovery Network – Costa Rica, and prior to his current position, completed his PhD at the University of Sheffield. His primary interests are effective monitoring of conservation projects and using technology to help increase our understanding of species that reside in challenging ecosystems such as tropical rainforests.
