Jamie is interested in the varied ways that birds interact. He currently works on the Flu-Trail Map project, applying ecological and social networks to the problem of highly pathogenic avian influenza transmission among wild birds. He completed his PhD at Imperial College where he studied the social and reproductive behaviour of House Sparrows on Lundy Island. He has no good GCSEs or useful A-levels.
