Adam Gristwood is a science writer specialising in life sciences and Earth observation. He holds a master’s degree in science and society studies and began his career as a journalist and editor on science policy magazines in Manchester, UK. In 2010 he moved to Heidelberg, Germany, where he held editorial roles at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory and EMBO Press. Since 2020 Adam has worked as an independent science writer, collaborating with international scientific organisations on their communications and producing accessible content for a range of scientific and general audiences. He is based near London, United Kingdom.

Kaspar Delhey is an ornithologist interested on a wide variety of topics, but with an emphasis on evolutionary ecology. After his undergraduate studies in Bahia Blanca Argentina, Kaspar Delhey carried out his PhD studies at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology in Germany, where he also stayed as a post-doc. In 2011 Kaspar moved to Australia, where he was an Australian Research Council DECRA fellow between 2012 and 2015. Currently he works as research fellow for the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence, Seewiesen, Germany.
