Teresa is an ecologist with a particular interest in nature conservation. She is a researcher at CIBIO/ Associação Biopolis, working with bird ecology and conservation, movement ecology and impacts of anthropogenic infrastructures on wildlife. Her model species includes raptors, as the Bonelli’s Eagle Aquila fasciata and the Iberian Imperial Eagle Aquila adalberti, and also steppe birds such as the Little Bustard Tetrax tetrax.
