Anne Goodenough is a Reader in Applied Ecology at the University of Gloucestershire. Although an active researcher on many ecological topics and taxa, her first love is bird research, especially avian breeding ecology and responses to climate change. Anne is very interested in using long-term datasets to study changes in population, fecundity, and behaviour of passerines; especially migrants whose complex life histories pose some particularly interesting research and conservation challenges. She works with colleague and co-author Matt Wood (view profile) on bird research and is passionate about getting undergraduate students involved in “real research” with two students being co-authors on this paper.
