Brandon did his undergraduate degree in Mathematical Sciences and is an Associate Statistician through the Statistical Society of Canada. Much of his research tries to apply computational and statistical methods toward conservation problems in the field of ornithology. His doctoral work focuses on broad-scale estimates of detectability in landbirds, and conservation implications that come from considering (or not considering) detectability in conservation decisions. Brandon was also affiliated with Environment and Climate Change Canada, Canadian Wildlife Service while carrying out this research. You can contact him at brandonedwards3@cmail.carleton.ca
