Daniel Bloche is a Ph.D. student at the University of Haifa, studying bird migration using different tracking technologies. His research focuses on understanding the stopover ecology of songbirds with different migration distances at a globally important stopover site in Eilat, Israel. His research interests cover ornithology and movement ecology, in particular during migration. Additionally, he has been a bird ringer for several years and likes to visit different stations from Scandinavia to the Middle East.
