Danni currently works as a Lecturer in Conservation Biology and Ecology at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. After a PhD in molecular ecology studying the Seychelles warbler, Danni worked for an international NGO as a Senior Scientist, conducting long-term terrestrial biodiversity monitoring programmes across the globe. She later returned to academia and is now programme leader for the MSc Wildlife Conservation course, collaborates on a number of ornithology projects, and co-supervises several PhD students covering areas of evolution, ecology, conservation technology and conservation interventions.
