Danni currently works as a Lecturer in Conservation Biology and Ecology at Liverpool John Moores University, UK. After a PhD in molecular ecology studying the Seychelles warbler, Danni worked for an international NGO as a Senior Scientist, conducting long-term terrestrial biodiversity monitoring programmes across the globe. She later returned to academia as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Salford before taking up her first Teaching and Research Lectureship in Liverpool, August 2022. It was not long before Danni then went on maternity leave and only recently returned full-time in December 2023. She is now in the process of starting up some new and exciting ornithological research projects in collaboration with the National Trust and Spurn Bird Observatory Trust – in addition to starting her new role as MSc Wildlife Conservation Programme Leader.
