Diego is a biologist, Ph.D. Candidate at CONICET (Argentinian Scientific and Technical Research Council), and a member of CECARA (Center for the Study and Conservation of Birds of Prey in Argentina).
Since 2016, Diego has been carrying out research, conservation and outreach projects related with raptors in both South and North America. His research involves species such as the endangered Chaco eagle (Buteogallus coronatus), the Chimango Caracara (Milvago chimango), or the Broad-winged Hawk (Buteo platypterus), in questions linked with movement ecology, breeding biology and their applications to bird conservation.
