Giulia Masoero is a PhD Student at the University of Turku in Finland. Her thesis focuses on the food storing behaviour of Eurasian Pygmy Owls (Glaucidium passerinum) and will be defended during the autumn 2020. During her (for now) brief carrier she has been researching avian ecology both in Italy, her home country (Bachelor and Master studies), and in Finland during her PhD. She has a particular interest for birds as study species and for foraging, behaviour, climate change and population dynamics as topics.
