Jacopo Cerri is a researcher and Adjunct PhD at the Mammal Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Białowieża, Poland. His work focuses on the quantitative analysis of ecological data to support wildlife management and conservation. His research interests include the movement ecology of mammals and birds, spatiotemporal data analysis, and the study of time series derived from diverse sources such as hunting records, roadkill data, and online search trends. He is currently investigating post-release animal behaviour and the effects of landscape anthropisation and fragmentation on mammals’ space use and resource selection. He works primarily within the fields of ecology and zoology, contributing to data-driven approaches for biodiversity conservation.
