Renata D. Alquezar is a Brazilian student from Universidade de Brasília (UnB), interested in Animal Behaviour, Ornithology and Bioacustics. She did her Master on bird’s community response to habitat fragmentation at the Biodiversity Conservation Planning Lab, when she used ARU’s methodology and developed this publication. Currently, Renata is a PhD student in this same institution, but at the Animal Behaviour Lab, where she is developing a project about airport noise interference on bird communication. In this project, she still uses ARU’s methodology and has a partnership with the Behavioural Ecology & Endocrinology Lab in Spain, where she will develop part of her research.
