Michał Jezierski is currently a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Birmingham. Michał’s research concerns the evolution of island species, and specifically the phenomena of ‘island syndromes’ – repeated occurrence of similar biological features among island species worldwide. Much of his work takes place on islands in northern and western Scotland.
