Kirsty Franklin

Kirsty is a Conservation Scientist at the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), working on various offshore wind focused seabird tracking projects. Before her current position, Kirsty completed her PhD at the University of East Anglia & Institute of Zoology and used a combination of spatial, genetic and environmental data to investigate the drivers of ocean movement patterns in Round Island petrels. Kirsty’s PhD was the first to be funded by the BOU’s John and Pat Warham Studentship Fund.
