Bingrun Zhu currently works in the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and the Beijing Normal University (China) as a PhD candidate and a PhD graduate, respectively. In 2008, Bingrun was inspired by the finding of the Bar-tailed Godwits’ migration over the Pacific Ocean. Later he switched his career to ecology and ornithology, especially interested in the migration and annual cycle of shorebirds in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
