Cosme López conducted his PhD at the University of Seville, focusing on migration ecology of hirundines and specifically carry-over effects. He is very interested in global change biology and tracking techniques. Currently, he is working as a post-doc researcher at the Doñana Biological Station (CSIC, Spain). Here he has started to work in new research lines related to the biovectoring of waterbirds and public health. For this purpose, he is working with new study models such as the white stork and new tracking techniques such as satellite transmitters.
