Cristian Pérez-Granados is the Head of the Research Group “New Tools for Biodiversity Monitoring” at the Forest Science and Technology Center of Catalonia (Spain). His research has mainly focused on the conservation of the threatened Dupont’s Lark, as well as on evaluating the effectiveness of passive acoustic monitoring. In this field, he co-coordinated the World Annotated Bird Acoustic Dataset and has contributed to several scientific publications on the applications and performance of BirdNET.
