Jessleena Suri is interested in urban ecology, landscape ecology and urban ornithology. Though originally from India, she has been living and studying in Cape Town, South Africa for the last seven years. She recently completed an MSc in Conservation Biology at the University of Cape Town and will now be staying on at the university to begin a PhD on the effects of urban landscape structure on avian diversity in South African cities. In her spare time Jess is an avid birdwatcher and succulent grower.
