Vinay is a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Tirupati, India. His core research interests include Phylogenomics, Systematics and Biogeography. He is currently involved in a project aiming to understand the historical population trends and the role of climate cycles affecting endemic birds, with small ranges, to a single mountain top. He enjoys birding and contributing to open research and Wikimedia Commons when not in the lab.
