Lillias August is a member of The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours (RI) that exhibits annually at the Mall Galleries in London. She uses a restricted palette, so mixes most of her colours. In watercolour, the white of the paper and the transparency of the water/colour is used to determine the lighter areas of the painting, so there needs to be a fair amount of planning, especially with nests!
