Mark Drever is a Research Scientist at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), focusing on population ecology of birds and wildlife conservation. His research includes studying effects of climate conditions on waterfowl, timber harvest and natural disturbances on forest birds, and movements of seabirds. Currently, his work addresses issues such as plastic ingestion in shorebirds and seeks to understand how coastal activities influence intertidal food webs for migrating sandpipers in key coastal ecosystems.
