Will Hoppitt’s research interests concern the development of statistical methods to study social behaviour in groups of animals, and the application of these methods to data from groups of wild and captive animals. Will obtained a Ph.D. from Cambridge University with Kevin Laland before going on to St Andrews University as a postdoctoral researcher. Will spent three years as a Senior Lecturer in Zoology at Anglia Ruskin University, before moving to become a Lecturer in Zoology at Leeds University.
