On being informed of the award, Eamon said “I’m thrilled to receive this award and honoured that IBIS readers and the BOU enjoyed my paper! I loved learning and writing about bird eye color, and IBIS is a perfect platform for me to share that work. A big thank you to the whole BOU and IBIS team, and to Leica for sponsoring the award.”

We are extremely grateful to Leica Camera (UK) for their continued support of this award.
