Nadja Weisshaupt completed her PhD in 2016 during which she studied nocturnal bird migration at the Bay of Biscay, Spain, by remote sensing tools, including weather radars. She is currently working as a Postdoc in the GloBAM project, in which the Finnish project partner, the Finnish Meteorological Institute, uses ornithological citizen science data in connection with weather radar data to model bird migration in the Finnish airspace.
