Nathan Whitmore is a conservation scientist and population biologist. He initially worked as a ranger for the New Zealand Department of Conservation before working in Papua New Guinea from 2012-2018 for the Wildlife Conservation Society. His research focus is on sustainable harvesting of wildlife populations. He is currently working on a book: R for Conservation and Development Projects which should be out on CRC Press in 2020.
