Ron Efrat is currently a PhD candidate at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, studying behaviour and conservation of wild- bred and reintroduced captive-bred vultures. The work presented here was done during Ron’s MSc studies at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, in which he studied the movement ecology of pelicans.
