About the author
Xin Lu is a Professor of Zoology at Wuhan University. His long-standing interests include natural history of a variety of vertebrates, especially birds, and the evolution of social behavior of Tibetan Ground Tits, Pseudopodoces humilis. He is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed papers. He is the co-director of the Field Station for Tibetan Wildlife, which is jointly administered by Wuhan University and Tibet University. He is also the Vice-President of the China Ornithological Society.
