Yael has been an enthusiastic birder and bird-ringer for over 20 years. She is a Ph.D. candidate at Ben Gurion University, supported by the Clore Leadership Program Fellowship. Over the past six years, she has been devoted to my Ph.D. including two periods of maternity leave. Her passion lies in minimizing the negative effects of human activity on wildlife and the environment to enhance nature conservation efforts. This passion has directed her research and outreach activities, which focus on the impacts of anthropogenic noise pollution on the behavior and conservation of wild songbirds.
