Davide Scridel is a PhD student at University of Pavia and Museo delle Scienze of Trento, Italy, investigating the effects of climate change on alpine birds. He has worked for the RSPB Centre for Conservation Science on a variety of conservation projects involving upland, farmland and seabirds.

David Douglas works for the Scottish research section of RSPB Centre for Conservation Science. He leads RSPB’s UK upland research, including work to inform the recovery of priority species such as Eurasian Curlew and Whinchat, and wider land use issues including forestry, grazing, moorland burning and onshore wind farms.
