Devin is a post-doctoral research fellow at Acadia and Mount Allison University in Eastern Canada. His research interests range from behavioural ecology to movement, community, and landscape ecology, with specific focus on avian systems. While his previous work has largely involved mountain ecosystems or open-country birds, his current research brings together radar, acoustic, and thermal imaging data to understand migratory bird movement through Atlantic Canada and potential risk factors, including wind turbines and transmission lines. Devin moonlights as a naturalist and in his spare time can often be found contributing to citizen science initiatives.
