Afan Anap is an early career researcher currently working as a research associate at the A.P. Leventis Ornithological Research Institute (APLORI), Laminga Jos-East, Plateau state, Nigeria. She is a member of the pan-African collaborative honey-hunting research network. She is interested in understanding behavioral adaptation in birds, urbanization and its effect on urban biodiversity, and how species strive to adapt to changes within their environment.
